Kvarnskafferiet is Limabacka Kvarn's own organic café and marketplace, built on six generations of milling expertise.

We designed this square A5 brochure to tell the story of how a powerful vision can move mountains and realize dreams.

The brochure was created in Illustrator and Photoshop.

We went through the family's photo album and found images from the family's long history as millers. This is a picture from the 1930s depicting millers with a sack trolley and canisters of flour.

The genesis in the story of Kvarnskafferiet is the late evenings in the mill on the Värö Peninsula where the dream of Skafferiet took root.

PAGE 3

In the family's photo album, we found this photo of our ancestors, brothers Gustaf and Arvid, with a younger companion and a sack of flour on the handlebars. Nybro Mill circa 1910.

The story goes back generations to the time when Sweden was a poor country and many people braved the Atlantic in search of a more tolerable life in America.

In the past, the mill played an important role in rural communities. It was a place where people met and talked. This inspired the vision for Kvarnskafferiet.

The logo is a homage to Anders who built the family's first windmill on Öland in the 1850s - and thus shaped the family's destiny in flour.
