Kvarnrosteriet is a passion project for us coffee lovers at the mill. Although we already mastered the art of grinding and understood the importance of top-quality raw materials, the journey into the world of coffee was full of fascinating, intricate, and exciting lessons. Just like with really good flour, there are no shortcuts to extraordinarily good coffee.
The minimal design and brand identity reflect Kvarnrosteriet's two fundamentals; really good raw materials and craftsmanship precision.
The website is a pared-down and black-and-white affair, except for the animated red lines that underscore menu options and the color that returns when you hover over the images. An animated logo adds life and movement.
Coffee holds a special place in the miller's heart. Just like with the flour, the taste is noticeable when using good organic raw materials and grinding coffee beans carefully.
Kvarnrosteriet is Limabacka Kvarn's own coffee roastery and is located in Bua on the Värö Peninsula, a stone's throw from the mill.
